Dear readers! Ommik develops further and now I am on YouTube! Please, don’t be too harsh, it is my first attempt to be on camera, but I promise I will be improving my skills.
In this video, after a short introduction, I am organizing tools in a small apartment. For this task, I have chosen an IKEA Billy shelf as storage for DIY tools and materials.
I have found this IKEA Billy shelf on the streets of Berlin. For those, who don’t know, it is common practice in Germany, when people moving out or buying new furniture, they simply get rid of the old one by taking it outside on the streets so that someone who might need it could take it for free. Yes, it is illegal, and if you get caught taking your bulk waste out, you can get a heavy fine, but people still do it. In this case, I have found the BILLY shelf and took it home. It doesn’t have the back panel, which is fine, because my wall in the hallway is white, and that where the shelf is located.
This project must be an eyegasm for people with OCD or those who simply enjoy watching things being tidy and organized.
